This is the 11th month of my case study, and I want to share the progress with you guys.
Lifestyle
For those who don’t remember me, I am a 26 years old (ex) lawyer who lives in Turkey. I quit my soul-sucking job to create this website, with the hopes that I don’t have to do law again. And it seems like the risk I took was worth it, at least for now. Last month, I wrote that I was planning to move to a small and beautiful coastal town when I get to 1000 Dollars.
I thought it would be possible in March 2020 or so. But things happened much earlier than I expected. This month, I already managed to pass 1000 Dollars. So, I think I will move in the next couple of months.
Man, what a journey it has been. I’ve never thought my life would change so fast. Affiliate marketing is a godsend if you live in a country with shit currency.
Anyway, tet’s talk about business.
What Have I Been Up to?
I aimed to write 40,000 words and create 10 backlinks last month. I failed at reaching both of my goals. There are two reasons for that. First, I started to create a second website and I lost the motivation since the website is doing pretty well already.
Content and Backlinks
I wrote 18,652 words and bought 6 backlinks this month. That gets me up to 255,968 words. And I have 123 articles in total. And my backlink profile keeps getting better and better.
Traffic
I saw some real growth this month. And I wasn’t affected by the updates that seem to hit some people. In fact, I think the updates were good for me. Let’s get to the stats.

(Don’ t consider the conversion rate and click numbers before November. Because I used to get spammy clicks and it fucked with all the numbers.) Honestly,% 11.56 seems like a very good conversion rate.
What happened this month? I don’t know guys, shit got real. I’m hoping this was not a deceptive growth because it is the shopping season. But I honestly don’t care. Because it is already two times more than my old salary. I don’t think I have a single peer who makes 2,000 Dollars, which seems doable in the next few months. And I don’t even have to go to work for it lol. American Dollar is very valuable compared to Turkish Lira. So, it makes affiliate marketing comically lucrative. I consider myself very very lucky. My life has changed 180 degrees. It is as simple as that.
Goals
I aim to write 5,000 words and create 2 backlinks this month. Because I will work on the new website.
